Back around 2001 Rod Espinosa and I proposed a manga version of AMETHYST, PRINCESS OF GEMWORLD to DC COMICS at that year’s San Diego Comic Con. I put together a proposal package that featured artwork by both me and Rod. Unfortunately, my art has been lost to the winds of time but Rod was smart enough to save his portion. He was generous enough to share this with me and to give a glimpse what might have been if DC had taken us up on the offer.
