WHY MARVEL SHOULD BRING IN THEIR 1970’s MARVEL TV HEROES!
DC has been paying homage and mining their past media history with comic versions of them such as BATMAN ’66 and ’89, SUPERMAN ’78 and WONDER WOMAN. Why hasn’t MARVEL done the same with their TV heroes? I think there is a HUGE opportunity here. They could do the same thing that DC is doing. During the 1970’s MARVEL had such shows as THE INCREDIBLE HULK, THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN, CAPTAIN AMERICA, DR.STRANGE with THOR and DAREDEVIL making appearances as well. It would so cool to see those versions in the multi-verse. The biggest omission for these 1970’s TV series is that we never saw any super villains. How cool would it be to see 1970’s versions of them. Growing up in the 1970’s these actually were very special to me as these were some of the earliest live action incarnations of MAREL heroes I ever saw. I watched INCREDIBLE HULK and SPIDERMAN religiously as a kid. I was so excited when CAPTAIN AMERICA and DR.STRANGE pilots were aired. I think MARVEL is missing a gold mine here. What do you think? Think it has potential or am I just waxing nostalgia?
